This 1953 Allstate was sold by Sears and Roebuck and could be purchased through the catalog. The car is an older piece-meal restoration. We will be restoring the car in several phases as requested by the owners, Allstate Insurance Company, Northbrook, IL. The photo on the top left of this group of 6 photos shows the car when it was brought in and the top right photo shows the engine compartment before starting disassembly. The bottom left 2 photos show disassembly of the car. The next photo shows the engine out and ready for rebuilding. The last photo bottom right shows the firewall components ready to be removed.
